Clara Alex - Drops and Wrap Theory on Aerial Silks (Intermediate)
Clara Alex is an aerial silks specialist from Ontario, Canada. She began training at the age of eleven and, now at twenty, has devoted nine years to mastering the art of aerial silks. A graduate of The National Circus School in Montreal, Clara has performed around the world, captivating audiences with acts that range from gutsy and energetic to poetic and expressive.
In addition to silks, Clara is passionate about other circus disciplines such as Hula Hoop, Duo Rollerskating, and Fire. She began coaching at just thirteen at a circus company in Collingwood, Ontario, and continues to share her love of movement with others. Clara believes that aerial silks can bring out the best in people, and her teaching style is known for being dynamic, playful, and empowering.
When she’s not in the air, Clara enjoys boxing and writing poetry—but at heart, she’s always dreaming up new ways to make her next drop a little bit wilder.
