Workshop for Teenagers between 12 and 16.

On demand, we extended the content of this workshop, which is now opened both for beginners AND intermediate!

2.1 Beginners (Teenager Edition!):

During this workshop, we’ll cover some basic two-arms elements and positions that are essential in straps, but you can surely execute them on other apparatus as well. Not to mention they look great on Instagram! We’ll try both hanging and support elements. We’re going to hang upside down a lot and spin a fair amount, so prepare to get a bit dizzy.

Prerequisites: one year of practice on any aerial apparatus. Ability to comfortably invert from straight or bent arms.

For this workshop, please take something to cover your wrists. This can be a wristband, long sleeve or a piece of bandage wrapped around the wrists.

2.2 Intermediate (Teenager Edition!):

Here we’ll troubleshoot and analyze classic one-arm straps moves such as meathooks, straddles or flags. We’ll also try to enter some of them utilizing the spin. We’ll try to tackle flares and how they can help us transfer the spinning momentum to make entering elements like flag or nutcracker easier. We’ll also touch on support moves like entering a back balance. For experienced straps practitioners, we can maybe even try switches. We’ll also find some time to help you or guide you towards your dream straps skill.

Prerequisites: some familiarity with basic two-arms straps elements and transitions; endurance in the spin; ability to hold meathook and/or 1arm straddle; 3-4 controlled skin-the-cats

For this workshop, please take something to cover your wrists. This can be a wristband, long sleeve or a piece of bandage wrapped around the wrists.
